Maple Valley Farms
Maple Valley Farm is a family operated farm with a farm market located in beautiful upstate NY. We offer a diverse array of home-produced items, everything from home-grown fruits and vegetables to truly home baked goods, along with local farm fresh pork and beef sold by the cut. We’re a small farm with a big commitment to our animals and our customers. Our meats are tender, juicy, flavorful, affordable and wholesome. All natural and lean. All beef and pork are USDA-inspected. The beef is grass-based and grain finished, the pork is fed corn and soybeans. Our motto is “Where Quality Dwells & Service Excels!”
$3.89/ lb. HCWThis includes butchering and processing. All packages are vac-sealed, USDA inspected. We do not use added hormones, antibiotics, or growth enhancers in any of our animals. They are grass-based and grain-finished. Our grains are raised and processed on our farm. We sell our beef in halves, quarters, bundles, and individual cuts year around.
$3.29/ lb. HCWThis includes butchering, processing, and some smoking. Additional cost for smoking and sausage links depends on customer requests. All packages are vac-sealed. We do not use added hormones, antibiotics, or growth enhancers in any of our animals. They are fed grain which is raised and processed here on our farm. Our pork is sold in whole, halves, bundles, and individual cuts year around.
What is HCW?
Hot carcas weight (HCW) is the weight taken immediately after slaughter, but before final trim. With beef for example, HCW is approximately 60% of live weight.
